CareerPATH Internship
This paid internship program prepares college students for non-clinical health care careers in areas like Finance, Information Services, Marketing and Communications and Regulatory Affairs. Interns support projects, learn from dedicated professionals and build connections with staff and peers. Opportunities are available year-round for undergraduate and graduate students in fields such as Cybersecurity, Digital Services, External Affairs, Informatics and more.
Child Life Internship
Child Life Specialists help children and families cope with the stress of hospitalization through education, play, and emotional support that reduce fear and anxiety. UMass Memorial Health’s Child Life Department offers internships for students in accredited child life programs, providing hands-on learning in a hospital setting under certified specialists’ guidance.

The NextGen Workforce Internship
The NextGen Workforce Internship Program offers six-week paid summer internships for local high school students to explore healthcare careers. Interns serve in administrative roles in areas like Capital Planning, Respiratory Care, Primary Care, laboratories, and hospital units while learning about many healthcare career paths.
