Changes at Urgent Care
NOTICE TO PATIENTS REGARDING MILFORD REGIONAL URGENT CARE
We are constantly evaluating the most effective ways to keep our patients, providers and staff safe during the Covid-19 pandemic. Not only through the “surge” period but also as we progress into a new normal state, safety continues to be of utmost importance. For the protection of our patients, we have made the decision to see patients with respiratory symptoms only in stand-alone sites. Doing so will ensure that we do not risk exposing patients who have appointments in other practices.
Effective Monday, June 1st, we will make the following changes related to our Milford Regional Urgent Care practices:
Respiratory Care Site:
- The Hopkinton urgent care site has opened as a respiratory illness clinic.
This respiratory care site will only see patients who are experiencing respiratory illness symptoms similar to those of Covid-19. These symptoms include cough, fever, sore throat, runny nose, lack of smell or taste, and shortness of breath.
Urgent Care (non-respiratory care sites):
- The Northbridge urgent care location no longer sees patients with respiratory symptoms but is available for non-respiratory urgent care concerns.
- The Franklin urgent care location no longer sees patients with respiratory symptoms but is available for non-respiratory urgent care concerns.
- The Milford urgent care location continues to see patients who have non-respiratory urgent care concerns.
Please also consider contacting your primary care physician for evaluation. They are performing visits via phone and video conference during normal office hours.
Covid-19 testing is NOT available at any Milford Regional Urgent Care sites.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to make changes to our delivery of care.
